Our Story
The Rhodes family enterprise began in 1951, when Thomas L. “TL” Rhodes Sr. opened the first Rhodes fuel station along major North-South routes. A wounded World War II veteran and entrepreneur, TL built what became one of the Southeast’s largest family-owned truck stop operations.
Carrying forward that entrepreneurial example, Dusty Rhodes founded Rhodes Graduation Services in 1975. Built around celebrating student achievement and serving schools with excellence, Rhodes Graduation Services became the largest Jostens operation of its kind in the United States.
Across generations, Rhodes Companies has also maintained long-term interests in real estate development and investment. From projects in South Carolina to Florida, these efforts reflect the family’s broader commitment to building things that serve communities over time.
